"Can't live with her. Can't live without her"
Bill was only 24 when he came
for a past life discovery session. He told me
he was in a relationship with his
girlfriend, Sue, for 3 years and had been living together for the last 2
years.
They were very good
friends, but the romance had died long ago,
and he wanted to end the relationship,
but couldn't. When he would try, she would beg him to get back together, and he
couldn't refuse. She had a very strong personality, he explained, and there was
something
he couldn't figure out. He thought a past life regression could shed
some light.
As we got into the session, he was holding his abdomen. "What is it?"
I asked. "My stomach....it's so painful," he replied.
"I want you to detach yourself from the situation, as if you're just watching a movie, and tell me what's going on" I said, calming him down. This had an immediate effect. He stopped holding his abdomen and said: "I'm giving birth. It's a baby girl." "Where are we? What is your name?" I asked. "Ruth. I'm 40,
we're in Australia." "What year is it?" "Ah...1857, I think" He replied. "O.K. what happens next?" "She's too big. O God! no! I don't want to go! Who will raise her? Who will take care of her?" I calmed him down, reminded him that everything
happens for our highest good, and asked him to try to point out the similarities
to his relationships today. He was silent for a few moments, then said he felt
responsible for her, referring to his girlfriend, as if he had to take care of
and nourish her. He explained that she was kind of obsessed with him and didn't
let him leave her.
We then did guided imagery, aiming to help him understand he is not responsible for her life
in their present incarnation, that he did the best he could then, and that today he can let
go of the Australian life trauma and make a decision regarding the relationship.
He was much
more
light-hearted when he left.
A few mouths later he called me, telling me that they had
mutually decided to end the relationship. They both have new partners they are
very happy with, and they are much better friends now.
The path
(Divorce)
Doreen was sent to me by a good friend who said: "she is my best
friend and a fascinating woman."
"Well" I said, "Aren't we all fascinating?" "You'll see" my friend replied .
Doreen was a 32-years-old Md.,married with 2 little boys, and very
unhappy. She felt alone. Her husband was an officer in the air force, doing boring office work, and at home, did nothing but watch TV and drink beer. She told me she had three lovers since she was married trying to fill this void. She thinks her husband knows but doesn't care. They had been to a marriage counseling but things didn't change much. "So what do you want?" I asked. "I need to figure out my life. It's not working." She replied. "Do you love him?" I wondered. "I don't know any more" She said
sadly." I would like to remind you that Past Life Regression is like looking at an old photo album. I can't make the decision for you. It's always up to you since you are the only expert on your life. My job is to be the tour guide on the sight seeing called "Doreen's former life." "You're right" She agreed. "What's now?" "Now I would like you to try and put it into a question form." "What?" She wondered. "I mean, put the issue you came here for, in a question form that we can send to your "computer" so it will show us the most appropriate "file" regarding this matter." I explained. "How about, should I stay with him?" She replied.
"Let's go for the adventure!" I summarized.
As I started the induction she began laughing. "Hey, I'm black! And this raffia skirt, actually we make it of some leafs, coconut or something...." "Where are we? And how old are you?" I asked. "I'm 8 and it's a beautiful tropical island. Palms and coconut trees. The village is right here. Little huts made of mud." "O.K." I interrupted this pastoral description, bearing in mind the purpose of our
session". And what exactly are you doing?" "I'm helping the women." "Where are the men?" "They are gone.
I think they went hunting. Yes. And we're cleaning and taking care of the youngsters." "What happens next?"
"I'm hiking up this trail in the forest. It's so beautiful! Lots of shapes and green bushes and trees, it's pretty!
love it here!" I let her enjoy the experience for a while. "Oh, and here's the waterfall!"
She got all exited. "Oh Oh. I'm scared. My heart is pounding!" "What is it? You don't have to take this path, if you don't like it, you know." I calmed her down. "Yes I know" she replied
"But I want to" "All right. What happens next?"
"There are 4 black men coming towards me!" "You're black too, remember?"
I mentioned". "They are taller and thinner than us. It's the
other tribe!" "So?" I asked. "You see, I'm not supposed to go beyond this point. The waterfall I mean. It's their territory!"
She was terrified. "Just relax and imagine it's only a movie you're
watching, take a deep breath" I soothed her. She inhaled
deeply and I could see her relax."O.K. this is better. "They pick me up and take me to their village. I'm screaming but it doesn't help much. I knew I shouldn't have gone beyond the waterfall point! I should have listened to the elderly! I'm so scared!" "What do you see?"
I focused her attention off the guilt trip she was in."
It's a beautiful totem, tall and well shaped made of some dark wood, overlooking the village. I like that!"
"What else do you see?" "They are
taking me to the circle. There's a ceremony going on. They tie me to the poll. They
are dancing and Singing. There's a big pot simmering in the middle. Wow, they're chopping my head off! That was surprising! I'm floating. I can fly above the fire and the whole village! This is amazing!" "Can you tell me what you see?" I said curiously.
"They're cooking my body. That's why my people kept warning me! They never said exactly what
will happen if we go beyond that point, but they were very strict about it." She replied and then kept quiet for a long time. "O.K. now that you're out of your
body, how do you summarize the life you had just lived?" "Well, it was very simple, natural, tribal life. You can't exist out of the community and if you don't follow the rules, don't respect the norms-you're dead. Literally. I was stupid or curious or arrogant, and it had cost me my life, at the age of 8. I should have never gone there by
myself" she said quietly." Now let's leave all this behind. Take a few deep breaths and tell me how this information is relevant to your recent life?"
"Ah, it's very simple. First, I should never be alone. And since the age of 18 I always had a boyfriend. Makes me feel safe. And secondly, if I'll get off the normative trails of society, you know, conventions, I'll
die." "What do you mean? Like what?" I
wondered." Like getting divorced" she replied
in an instance, surprising both of us. I let her stay with this for a while. We
did some clearing of the guilt, and implanted new concepts regarding freedom of choice and social norms.
"Wow, that was like a fairytale!"
She said as she opened her eyes. "Indeed" I smiled. I knew she needed some time to sort things out.
A week later she called to thank me and told me she had "fired" her lover because she can be by herself now, and still feel safe. She also said she is considering filing a divorce suit, since she wants to move on with her life.
Lack of money
Ben was a 46-year-old man, happily married with 3 kids who came to me for a very common issue. He felt he was not making his worth in his career. Though he was a brilliant man and a gifted freelance photographer, he somehow never had enough money. He was just surviving. I asked him if he can identify a pattern. Does he spend his money too easily? Is he unable to close enough deals with clients? Does he charge too little for his work? He said he didn't get enough work, as if he didn't want to have money, and when he did make money, it tended to run out quickly. He would get a speeding/parking ticket; get bigger bills than usual and so on. I asked whether he was raised very poor or very rich, and whether he thought that money was: "the root of all evil". He laughed and said he was raised in a middle class family, and he couldn't point out anything specific. He also mentioned that both his siblings were well off and had no issues with money.
I asked him to lie down, close his eyes and take a few deep breathes.
As he relaxed I guided him to fill his body with bright white light, and
let the images float to his mind freely. He got very excited and started describing what he sees. "Wow, I love my shoes! They are made
of orange and yellow fabric triangles, a bit funny. And my clothes...and look at this market place!
So colorful and crowded!... but I think they are afraid of me. Weird." "Where are we and what year is it?" I asked.
"Iran. 1612," he replied immediately.
"I'm a prince. We're very rich...but the people are very poor, they're dying of hunger. I don't care. I have great life."
"How do you spend your time?" I asked. "I hang out in my beautiful garden, have fun with my women....I've got plenty of those, you know...I can do what ever I like. My father runs the kingdom, so I don't have to worry about anything. I like that." "O.K. lets go to another scene in your life," I said. "Who the hell is she?" He said suddenly. "She's ugly!
and looks poor. Another wife? I don't like her!" He complained. "My father is forcing me to marry this woman, for political reasons. She belongs to the people, she's not royalty".
He explained. "All right. Let's see what happens next" I encouraged him to move on. " What's going on?! The mob is taking over the palace! Hey you! Knock it off! They are dragging us all to the city square! It's insane!
and this woman, she orchestrated it all! I knew I shouldn't have trusted her!"
"Let's just observe that, as if it's an old movie," I said to calm him down. "Well," he sighed and continued, it's getting hot in here, my feet...now my knees, I'M BURNING! I'm on the stake! They are burning me!"
he yelled. "Take a few breaths and tell me what's on your mind," I said soothingly. "I'll never have money again, it can kill me!" He said instantly, surprising himself.
We talked a bit more about his beliefs regarding money. He said that money can corrupt you, spoil you, make you insensitive and heartless, brings out the ugliness of human nature, such as greed and jealousy. I guided him to let go of his old beliefs, which do not serve him, and adapt a new, positive attitude towards abundance. As he opened his eyes and gazed at me he said,
"No wonder I can't get enough money today, I perceive it as jeopardy to my life!"
"Should I marry him?"
That was the first thing Sara said as she got in and sat down. " I'm not a prophet, you know... Tell me more," I replied. "Well, Jacob and I had known each other for 5, maybe 6 years. We moved in together about 3 years ago. All my girlfriends are married already, and it's seems like it's time for
us to do the same, but I'm not sure," she said. "How is the relationship for you?" I asked. "On the one hand there's some flow, our togetherness seems very, I don't know, familiar, maybe? On the other hand, sometimes he drives me crazy, and I feel like killing him or getting the hell out of there..." she said, smiling. "Okay, what I suggest is that we ask your "computer" to show us a former life that includes Jacob to help us understand the relationship today, and hopefully help you make up your mind. Is that Okay with you?" I asked. "Sounds great, I've got nothing to lose" she answered.
We went through the induction and then she stared talking. "I'm in Egypt, I think, yes, I can see the pyramids. I'm in this school, being initiated to become a high priestess. We lead a very spiritual life." "How old are you?" "About 18 - 19." "Do you like what you do?" "I love it, and my passion is to be of service for my people," she replied enthusiastically. "O.K. lets see what happens next." "No way! I won't marry him!" she said
angrily. "Can you please tell me what's going on?" I asked. Sara took her time. "My father is forcing me to marry this old guy. He is very rich. No way I'll do that!" "Please take a look at the man's eyes, see if you recognize him
from your present life?" I asked. "That can't be true! I don't believe that!
It's Jacob! Wow!" I gave her some time.
"Well, what do you do?" "The next night, I commit suicide," she said without emotion. "How did you do this?" I asked curiously. "Ah, using my personal snake. I made him bite me." "It's your pet, isn't it? So it's not suppose to hurt you. Right?" "Yes. So I had to use the magic words, in order to turn him against me." "And then what?" "They found my body in the morning and got very upset with me. I don't care. I'd rather die than have to leave my spiritual
calling." "And what about Jacob?" "I know he loved me, and would have taken good care of me but I wanted to dedicate my life to
God." "Can you see any connection to you current life?" "Come to think about it, I'm an artist, I make imaginative jewelry,
and I'm afraid that I'll lose that with all the duties of being a wife
and a mother."
"Anything else?" I asked. "Water, I see lots of water," she said. "Are you on land? In the water?" I wondered. "Well...I'm on this tiny boat, by myself. I'm sailing," she replied. "What for?" I continued. "I'm a fisherman and that's my boat," she went on. "Are you a man?" "Yes, I'm old," she said quietly. "Do you have any family?" I asked, remembering the issue we're dealing with. "Not really. I never married. I spend my life on the
water." "Okay." I got stuck. What now? And why is she seeing that?
"Anything else?" I asked hesitantly. "This is weird. There's this sea turtle here, he keeps following my boat. Strange." "Take a close look at this turtle, and tell me if you recognize it from your current life," I asked with
a relief. "Oh my God! I don't believe it! It's Jacob! He was a turtle!" She was totally puzzled. I gave her some time to absorb. "And
why did he choose to be a turtle?" I asked. She took a deep breath. "Since I didn't have any relatives, I guess. The only way he could be around me in this solitary life was to be a sea
turtle" she said quietly, understanding the meaning of it. "He must have loved me very much," she continued. "And I think he still does"... I added. Sara was
very quiet.
I got her back to full awareness. "Wow," she said. "I've got to call my husband and tell him he was a sea turtle!" "Did you just say, my husband?" I commented. "
Did I? I guess I did" She suddenly
realized. "It seems like I got my answer...."
