What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a Greek word meaning "sleep." Many people perceive hypnosis as a state of being unconscious, weak-minded, out of control or, worse, under someone else's control. This is not true. Hypnosis is a natural state of mind we get in and out of occasionally in our daily lives. For example, "drifting away" or driving past our home freeway exit without paying attention, is an example of being in a hypnotic state.
In hypnosis the critical mind is "asleep" and the unconscious mind is alert and very suggestible. In this state we can replace limiting beliefs (such as "I'll never have enough money," "smoking is cool," "food makes me feel better"), with desirable ones.

What does a Hypnotherapy session looks like?
First we discuss what you want to address. What is it that you would like to
reduce or transform? What are the desirable results of the session? What
will your life look like after you have achieved that?
Second, you relax your body and mind, so that positive affirmations can be
best absorbed. I feed back to you, the positive affirmations you had
previously created.
Third, you return to full alertness, as if waking from a good nap, feeling
great.
Audio tape of your session is available.
